When is this service relevant?
For international cloud or group services, access from third countries, and reviews of SCCs or other transfer arrangements.
Scope of support
- Mapping the transfer chain, exporter and importer roles, and onward transfers.
- Assessment of the transfer mechanism, including the scope of an adequacy decision or the appropriate SCC module.
- Transfer impact assessments where required, considering transfer circumstances, destination-country law and practice, and information from the recipient.
- Review of supplementary contractual, organisational and technical safeguards with the relevant specialists.
- Alignment of transfer documentation, provider responses and periodic review arrangements.
The need for and scope of a TIA depend on the transfer and the chosen mechanism. Each arrangement is assessed in its specific context.
