When is this service relevant?

For IT implementations, cloud and SaaS procurement, new data flows, process automation or the introduction of AI tools.

Scope of support

  • Analysis of process objectives, data categories, individuals, sources, recipients and data flows.
  • Privacy requirements for procurement documentation and non-functional requirements (NFR) questionnaires.
  • Data protection review of access permissions, logs, retention, deletion, backups and test environments.
  • Review of hosting, cloud services, integrations, administrative access and processing locations.
  • Assessment of AI tools, automation, profiling and human oversight; identification of DPIA, LIA or TIA needs.
  • Data protection by design and by default recommendations, with review of agreed changes before go-live.

Technical measures are reviewed from a data protection perspective in cooperation with IT and information security specialists. This service does not include technical security testing.
